Passion Pit Tour 2012
This tour was designed by Marc Janowitz and I programmed and operated. If I remember correctly I got notes from Marc on each song and I did the basis of the song programming at home in MA3D which you can see the screen shots below. Then we had a few days of preproduction where we dialed in the programming and Marc and I could go thru each song. I programmed this on an MA1 lite and I’m pretty sure this is my first example of cue stacking songs. We had a crazy amount of MA1 issues throughout that tour and I remember being nervous that the console was never going to make it thru the show. I had no technician on this tour and I immediately knew this was too much work for me to build, operate, and take down each night and at the end of tour I slipped a disk in my back and ended up with a trip to the emergency room and a lifelong back injury. We ended with a final show in Hawaii which I have almost no memory of because I was so inebriated with the pain medicine needed to keep me walking upright.
