With the exception of the circle truss this rig is pretty easy and has a lot of flexibility so if time is a major factor then maybe we change the video to a rectangle and cut the circle truss idea. The real basis for this rig is the fan fixture called the GLP Force 120. Watch the video below to really see what it looks like in person. These have been out a few years but I have only seen them on one show previously so its a really good way to add a unique look to the show.
Each truss pod has a strobe and a fogger along with two brand new fixtures called the Zonda 9. This fixture is so new I’m not sure if we could get it for a reasonable price but any round large frame LED could work in this position. Watch the Zonda 9 video here to see how it works and why its easier to see it then for me to explain it.
The premier Spot fixture and the best shutter system on the market. This allows the beam to be shaped into vertical or horizonal lines along with all the usual patterns and aspects of a modern moving light. BMFL stands for Bright Multi Function Luminaire but we all call it the BIG MOTHER FUCKING LIGHT.
The JDC-1 has been the industry standard strobe for a few years now. This design doesn’t specifically rely on the tilt mechanism so any good quality LED strobe should work with a few notable exceptions. (No Atomic 3000 or Atomic LED Strobe)
